A few years ago, Nathan Fellingham very generously offered to record some songs I had been writing at the time. He, with other members of PHATFISH, arranged ‘Grace is not earned’, ‘Wake up my soul’ and ‘Here is love (Grace takes my sin)’, and recorded them, with Hanna Silvester and Sam Cox also on vocals. I’m so grateful for their time, creativity and musicianship on these beautifully-crafted tracks. It’s a little while after the event, but we’re really pleased to say that these tracks are now available on streaming platforms as ‘The Grace EP’, and we've made a free songbook of these songs available to download here
We have also released a brand-new video for this version of ‘Grace is not earned’ on my YouTube channel. In his ‘Worship Matters’ blog, Bob Kauflin said some really kind words about the song: “’Grace is not earned’ does a great job unpacking the meaning of grace in a Christian’s life. Several things I appreciate about this song. It makes us aware grace is the work of the Triune God. It has a singable and memorable melody. It references Christ crucified and risen (the means of grace) clearly. It loudly proclaims our freedom from sin, deliverance from condemnation, and acceptance by the Father. Great song.” Thank you so much, Bob!
Charts and lead sheets are available for all three of these songs here on the website. And we hope you enjoy the new video!
